I think we've passed the stage where I apologize, cuz I always do, and u know i'm sorry. I never have a good excuse, no trip, no health problems amen, well i kinda didn't pay for internet. Being a corpers sucks! I cant wait to make money next year. What else, No need to promise I'll be a great blogger, or I won't go MIA again. But.... it's safe to say like a good puppy, or caged eagle, I'll always come back.
Missed you too, kindly tell me what you've been up to this year, don't care if your anonymous, all my novels are in Atlanta, so I'll gladly read.
It's been an interesting year so far, but we have enough time to get into that. Now let's jsut continue normally blogging like i havent been a very bad girl. *kisses* thanks.
So..... 1004 Estates. / 1g4, whatever you wanna call it. It's a cool place, in Victoria Island, where a truck load of people stay, supposedly 1004 apartments. Pretty nice! Has history, that's not the point of this post.
It reminds me of a loft, but what I love so much is how everyone's apartment is so unique, and different. Its the same structure yet it changes with the different tenant or owner. (interesting fact: rent isn't monthly in nigeria it's yearly! nice!!) Would be cool to do different people's apartments in 1004 right?
Anyways this post isnt about the apartments, though I'm considering it, It's actually the view from one of my friends. I think their Apartment complex is blessed with one of the best views.
I'm obsessed with the view. Gosh i love lagos, It can be soooo pretty. So here's the view at different times of the day.
VI is a pretty popular are on the Island/ in Lagos. It gets really busy, it's a mid point between ikoyi & lagos. Clubs, businesses, apartments, homes, traffic, hotels, the list goes on. Oh and water :) Behind me is Civic Center (boat club, event place, buy your apple electronic for high prices etc)
ok now back to the view:
pan left & you can see the new bridge leading from VI to Ikoyi (well it's been open for a few months now).
it's getting dark
now its dark... so pretty!
Lagos is so beautiful, well.... definitely at night! i love passing 3rd Mainland Bridge during sunset! It's one of the most amazing views, as you colors, the canoes etc, I keep wondering how to SAFELY get that shot.
I love high rises with a city view, wasn't aware I was obsessed until i started writing this post, and realized while watching movies i did this!!! OMG screen shots of rooms with city views! ha ha ha I'm not a nutter I promise.
While watching Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps last year I did this:
pretty!!!
& Yesterday I did this, while watching Sleeping Beauty (2011), um it's definitely not your disney movie, artsy, oddy, well it's about the view not the movie.
Gosh but before i take a high rise view, I do having water, like a jetty, and or a view of both. LOL gosh well let me focus on being corper, then getting a regular paying, but till then I'll fantasize.
& Just incase you missed my face, as much as I missed you, your witty & awesome comments and babbles:
gosh, didn't i look great, my dslr, the lighting. yeaaaa.....
about that: let's leave that light, and leave that camera :) Hmm not sure what to make of it, few seconds apart and I barely look the same lol.
