Anyway as time went, so did my makeup. I had only one eyebrow pencil left (and then i lost it, and tried some ghetto horrible things). I've been out of mascara for several months. I have barely any false lashes. I lost my concealer brush.
Basically let's just say Ive been forced to the the "natural" look. So I decided to stock up!!! and stock up enough for another next year. So I wrote my list, bought it, and got my mum to bring it to Nigeria for me. My mum jokes I bought enough makeup to last not one but 2 years... maybe... we'll see :)

It doesn't look that much to me. I still need mascara!! and foundation, I'm almost out (well my foundation will last 4-5 months).
I bought sooooooo much powders. 2 different colors, cause sometimes I get tan, 2 different colors of concealers cause... I get tan. LOL anyways, this is my makeup haul. It's mostly MAC just out of habit. My sis bought me an affordable concealer brush from CVS i think or Target, and i got lashes from Forever 21 ( never tried it before i'm used to Shisem).
ps: Amanda if your reading this, I know my birthday was ages ago, But i'd like Mascara & that new foundation that MAC has :) thanks.

Don't judge, guys... you never think that you have enough games, like girls never think we have enough clothes or shoes, and in this case... makeup. Ive started enjoying the natural look, and it's a mechanism to not get "hit on" when im moving from office to office (it's not a foolproof plan, but it's probably helped.) hahahaha not that I'm Beyonce or anything, i'd just rather avoid awkward situations.
Wow, now that's a lot of makeup, but I guess it'll last a while. :)
ReplyDeleteGurl! I know what you mean! I just ran out of my powder (I don't use foundation) and I've steered clear of events where I need to be made up. But every time my mum or dad comes in, best believe they're bringing the basics for me - eye pencils, lip gloss. I also brought a ton a eye-shadows when I left Atlanta, so I still have a bunch of stuff left over. But I'll restock soon, since I think they expire after a year or so...

ReplyDeleteGreat products you've got. I use MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. NC 55 and I always get it from Kuddy at Trade Fair Lagos, Delta Plaza for 5,500. There's also a MAC outlet on Bode Thomas Street, Surulere. I'm sure there'll also be one on the Island. Don't really know the specific address.
