This is one hell of a corker of a post! I LOVE IT. I will go to Lagos one day. I was actually born on the other side of Africa (kenya) and have long been curious about how life is lived on the west coast! Thank you for sharing these fab photos.

Your getting SO good with the photography. I've yet to trust myself in manual mode. How did you learn Photoshop? I watch youtube videos buts its like everytime I open the program--I see all the buttons and functions and then immediately get confused and just close the whole thing down..

Everyone looks absolutely gorgeous! Geezz! Its super cold in the states and seeeing you all prancing around in your bikinis and soon to be cropped tops is making me jealous LOL!

...And cheers to being in the 'not-having-a-boyfriend' category. I'm 23 and wonder how I was able to pull it off. Sometimes its just about being super picky, sometimes it just wasn't the right time or opportunity. No worries though, you'll find that one to soon sweep you off your feet and make you believe that all that fairly tale glitz really does exist. (I'm talking to someone now & he just might be lucky #1)

Love long comments!!!!!! so thanks, i don't mind em. Dami's gorgeous, but no she doesn't have a blog, well not so far. it was about 5 of us that were left, but luckily we stopped the stranger around the same time, so we didnt feel super stranded. Yea Nigeria can be sometimes very depressing, and I feel like a lot of people can get that info most of the time, so I try to show a fun, normal, or lucky side, that some people don't get to see. In the future I might touch on an issue, or i might not, we'll see what the year holds.

My mum keeps clowning me, to stop my friendship nonesense and date one. LOL. Who knows maybe this year i'll think outside the box. Relationships seem much easier for others, Im waiting for a fairytale one to drop on my lap, *sigh* I know.... I might be totally jaded lol.

Weird but how many people were left on the boat after the bday boy rescued the rest? I can't believe they left you guys there out in the water. Thank God for the rescuer. Still some nice people left in this world. Except it was an issue of safety he should have taken you all.

I love the pictures, so inspiring. I notice your comment on the wealth disparity in Nigeria. I feel like you should have commented more on it but I guess you didn't want to depress anyone. It's good to show the other side of Lagos Living but the truth is that only a few percentage of people get to experience this. Anyway! I love your blog and sorry for the long story!
